SUMMARY:SDG Cafe: Sustainability beyond borders

The goal: to jointly build a sustainable and future-proof region — beyond borders. \nAt a time when European identity is under pressure and the European agenda is increasingly dominated by geopolitics\, security and technological developments such as AI\, we believe that sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) offer a shared compass. They provide a common language and direction for collaboration. \nJoin the SDG Café and learn how we can strengthen cross-border collaboration for sustainability in de Euregion. \n\nNEW Date:  25 September 2026\nTime: 16.00-19.00hr (walk in: 15.30hr)\nLocation: The Social Hub\, Maastricht\nFor whom: sustainable changemakers (citizens\, policy makers\, entrepreneurs\, volunteers\, educators) from the EUregion\nSign up: via this link\nMore info: sdghouse@mondiaalmaastricht.nl\n\nWhat to expect\nSocietal and ecological challenges do not stop at national borders — in fact\, they create opportunities for resilience and self-reliance. By connecting knowledge\, resources and initiatives across the Euregio\, we can strengthen one another\, accelerate the transition and work together on solutions with real impact. In doing so\, we put our shared European values into practice: human dignity\, freedom\, democracy\, equality\, the rule of law and human rights. \n\nInspiring speakers on European sustainability policy and regional opportunities\nAn interactive information market featuring initiatives and organisations from the Euregio\nNetworking opportunities during a closing reception to exchange ideas and spark new collaborations\n\nWho is it for?\nAnyone committed to or interested in sustainability and cross-border collaboration — from students and policymakers to civil society organisations and local initiatives. \nWhy participate?\n\nMeet potential partners for cross-border projects\nGain insight into funding opportunities and policy frameworks\nGet inspired by concrete examples from the region\nContribute to a stronger and more sustainable Euregio network\n\nTogether\, we translate global challenges into local action.Together\, we are stronger — united in diversity. \n#MoMa #MoveYourWorld #ActLocalThinkGlobal
